Job Description
United Sports in Downingtown, PA is seeking a responsible person to serve as a part-time van driver (no CDL needed) for its After School Program.

Summary of Job Duties:

The van driver will operate a 10-passenger van and transport students to various elementary schools located in the Downingtown area. Schools we currently service are Beaver Creek Elementary, Brandywine Wallace, Bradford Heights Elementary, Collegium Charter School, East Ward Elementary, Caln Elementary and West Bradford Elementary. The van driver must be able to safely transport school students on the scheduled bus routes. This position will also assist with performing a prescribed per-operational safety maintenance check, as well as accumulate and record statistics for daily log reports on route service. Other duties as assigned.

Shifts Available:

Monday - Friday, 11:45am to 1:00pm

Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Drivers do not need to be available every day to apply.

On days that the schools have in-service days and early dismissal days the schedule will be flexible. Additional hours may be available as the program continues to grow and the ability to assist with the day-to-day before and after school program supervision is a plus. Most weeks would average 10-15 hours per week.

Availability and flexibility are key. Regular, non-disruptive, and reliable attendance is an essential job duty.

Hourly Range: $15 - $20 per hour

Minimum Qualifications (not needed to apply initially):

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Age 25 or older
A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License in good standing
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
